<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
No one is exactly sure of who created the first hoop earrings but it is believed that their roots lie in tribal culture, so it is safe to say, they've been around a long time.</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Having lost it's appeal due to it's association with slavery, prostitution and pirates, ear piercings were consider to be 'crass' and inappropriate. Fast forward a couple hundred years and the hoop earring starts to make some waves during the 60's and 70's and while it was a popular trend, it wasn't until later that it became a trend that every young women was wearing.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Come 1990, the female trailblazers of american hip-hop/rap catapulted this accesory in to the mainstream, the juxtaposition of 'grime/glamour' depicted in the iconography and videos of the 90's artists was an opulence that seemed within every audiences members reach; perhaps this is why this trend took off, so much. Everyone from Lil Kim to Kate Moss were wearing hoop earrings and in every style imaginable from thick, gold hoops to small sleepers; the reclamation of the hoop earrings was in full swing.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
After a brief lull in the early to mid 2000's (although don't think I've forgotten about that 'Smile' music video with Lily Allen, her bamboo heart hoops and reebok trainers), the hoop has made a come back again, along with other 90's staples such as the choker, ribbed crop tops and high-waisted 'mum' jeans. The hoop has a style for everyone and subculture within society with small, folksy infinity (endless) hoops, silver, hooker hoops or gold Celtic hoops. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I've living for this 90's fantasy, I'm loving high buns or a high, half ponytail with big, thin silver hoops with a choker. What is your favourite way to relive this 90's trend?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Transitioning to a vegan lifestyle can be daunting and plagued with excuses 'it's inconvenient', 'I can only eat lettuce'. I'm going to show you some of my favourite vegan products and where to get them from.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://www.ocado.com/webshop/product/Dorset-Cereals-Simply-Nutty-Muesli/70359011?sku=70359011&parentContainer=&voucherCode=&dnr=y">Dorset Cereals Simply Nutty Muesli</a>, this is my favourite muesli, made up of oats, nuts and delicious dates! Ever since I'd started to eat this it made me think 'why do people put raisins in cereal when you can put dates in them'. Dorset Cereals have a pleather of different cereals to offer and many of them are vegan friendly, just make sure that you check on the back before you buy.</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Another breakfast alternative are the <a href="http://www.waitrose.com/shop/DisplayProductFlyout?productId=56314">Jus Rol Ready To Bake Croissants</a>, they don't contain eggs or dairy. I haven't tried these but thought they might be good for a pastry fiend trying to transition to veganism.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Given that it's summer, everyone in the UK is jumping on the BBQ bandwagon but don't worry, you can join it too. These <a href="http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=292844080&gclid=Cj0KEQjw7-K7BRCkkIH3t_WwoskBEiQAD8oY3nZVBcVfnmWlbIgxtEAjTRhhM9a9AZuOp-jjfsWhOlsaAmVF8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds">Gosh! Mushroom, Butter Bean and Lentil Burgers</a> are delicious. They are relatively new and I'm so glad that they are readily available. The mushroom makes the burgers taste really meaty and the lentils and beans mean that they fill you up. If you were looking for an easy and quick lunch or dinner, these would be so convenient and a reliable product to have in the fridge for those days when you just want to put something in the oven and not have to cook. They also do <a href="http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=292843978">Sweetcorn and Quinoa bites</a> and <a href="http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=292844015">Chickpea and Courgette Moroccan Bakes</a>. All three of these products are naturally gluten, egg, dairy, soya and nut free and so affordable at £2.50 per pack</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Most supermarkets will do their own Bean burgers, which should all be vegan but here are two of my favourites. <a href="http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=266075169">Tesco Mexican Bean Burgers</a> are delicious, you get four burgers per pack and I think they retail at £2.50. Tesco also do other vegan friendly products that are frozen but they will all have a vegan 'stamp' on the packaging. Waitrose stock these <a href="http://www.waitrose.com/shop/DisplayProductFlyout?productId=380355">Goodlife Spicy Chipotle Bean Burgers</a> that are filling, easy to cook, flavoursome and affordable.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Tesco do a super affordable <a href="http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/default.aspx?id=266073027">Meat Free Mince</a>, it is virtually undetectable as 'fake meat' when used in a meal and so much cheaper than real mince. If you are someone that really misses the taste of meat, try this <a href="http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/shop/product/granovita-mock-duck-60062253">Granovita Mock Duck</a> it's great in stir-fries and available at Holland and Barrett.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For lunch I like to have soup, most of the time and what I have found, is that there aren't many vegan friendly soups, which are a bit strange. They either have milk, meat or cheese in! Luckily I have found these delicious soups by <a href="http://www.amyskitchen.co.uk/products/product-categories/vegan">Amy's Kitchen</a>, my favourites are the Lentil soup and the Split Pea soup. Amy's Kitchen produces a vast range of organic, gluten free and vegan soups and frozen meals such as burritos, vegan lasagne and macaroni 'cheese'. Many of their products are available uk supermarkets and they are well worth a try.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Instead of butter there are two spreads that I like to use on toast, or in a jacket potato, <a href="http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=253250771&gclid=CjwKEAjwkui7BRCf64DNtfDupgoSJAA_0LOo2csFG6Dpg_fBQ1_mX1LldnOhb_iL_3ffHgADn8hcQBoCEP7w_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds">Vitality Dairy Free Spread</a> which is available at Tesco and <a href="http://www.waitrose.com/shop/DisplayProductFlyout?productId=19385&source=sho_&utm_source=google%2Bshopping&utm_medium=organic%2Bgs&utm_campaign=google%2Bshopping&gclid=CjwKEAjwkui7BRCf64DNtfDupgoSJAA_0LOoIEGCpUqBebUjjKoGpn6lpP5OjxxCKAOdYjHtzvBJzxoCY-3w_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds&dclid=CJiN-qqN2s0CFUZ42wodLY0Csg">Pure Dairy Free Spread</a> both of these spreads are very similar, great to us and affordable. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Most jams or marmalades will be vegan and spreads like peanut butter. The <a href="http://www.waitrose.com/shop/DisplayProductFlyout?productId=464594&source=sho_&utm_source=google%2Bshopping&utm_medium=organic%2Bgs&utm_campaign=google%2Bshopping&gclid=CjwKEAjwkui7BRCf64DNtfDupgoSJAA_0LOo968BuJ2qTX3ERGqq4tCD8v8MeLIK3tdd_3l8sjyOhhoCCYzw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds&dclid=COT_-YSP2s0CFUyO7QodnsgAwA">Whole Earth 100% Peanut Butter</a> is the best! It taste so much better than their normal peanut butter and it's great as a dip for carrot sticks, it makes such a delicious snack and it's great for kids.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Nowadays there are so many milk alternatives to choose from almond milk, coconut milk, oat milk, hemp milk and rice milk. If you prefer creamy tasting milks then I would go for coconut milk or rice milk but all of these milks are readily available in health food shops and most supermarkets.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
On to snacks, on a whim, I was seeing if <a href="http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=271671274">Smokey Bacon Pringles</a> would be vegan and they are! Along with original, salt and vinegar, paprika and texas bbq. For the most part salted or salt and vinegar crisps will be vegan friendly but it is always next to check on the back. The only draw back to the pringles revelation is that I am now addicted to the smokey bacon variety. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
A huge suprise were these <a href="http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=273949462">Fox's Dark Chocolate Chunky Cookies</a>, <a href="http://www.waitrose.com/shop/DisplayProductFlyout?productId=450871&source=sho_&utm_source=google%2Bshopping&utm_medium=organic%2Bgs&utm_campaign=google%2Bshopping&gclid=CjwKEAjwkui7BRCf64DNtfDupgoSJAA_0LOoyF-ZhnlxSSB4bL1y2JiNvUl58he3-1kY1MMUT3LRZhoC427w_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds&dclid=COuj0Iab2s0CFQmi7QodBMEHTg">Nairns Gluten Free Datk Chocolate Biscuits</a>, <a href="http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=264375347">Oreo Vanilla Cookies</a> and <a href="http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=252108977">Pink Panther Wafers</a> these are both widely available at supermarkets and delicious. They are perfect alternative to have from non-vegan biscuits or treats. Waitrose stock <a href="http://www.waitrose.com/shop/DisplayProductFlyout?productId=450502">Moo Free 'Milk' Chocolate</a>,it tastes milky and chocolatey and I honestly don't think I can tell the difference between this an ordinary milk chocolate. <a href="http://www.waitrose.com/shop/DisplayProductFlyout?productId=78614">Montezuma's</a> dark chocolate is also worth a mention, most dark chocolate is vegan but this has cocoa butter in, which gives it a sweeter and creamier consistency than most dark chocolate. <a href="http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/shop/product/eskal-gluten-free-wafer-rolls-60029265">Holland and Barrett</a> is a great website to search for vegan chocolate bars as well as <a href="http://www.veganstore.co.uk/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=510">veganstore.co.uk</a> which sell a brand called Go Max, they make vegan alternatives to thinks like Twix bars and Milky Ways.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I couldn't go through the sweets section without mentioning the <a href="http://www.waitrose.com/shop/DisplayProductFlyout?productId=336438&source=sho_&utm_source=google%2Bshopping&utm_medium=organic%2Bgs&utm_campaign=google%2Bshopping&gclid=CjwKEAjwkui7BRCf64DNtfDupgoSJAA_0LOo9Cruyfxxhb6heg9zpecb-eVw6vQp4l5EIKfthVtrvhoC6ojw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds&dclid=CKGZjL6g2s0CFYSI2wodnVwAZA">Booja-Booja Hunky Chunky Chocolate Ice Cream</a> or the <a href="http://www.waitrose.com/shop/DisplayProductFlyout?productId=380410&source=sho_&utm_source=google%2Bshopping&utm_medium=organic%2Bgs&utm_campaign=google%2Bshopping&gclid=CjwKEAjwkui7BRCf64DNtfDupgoSJAA_0LOojck-YBZ7-fJO9k9wZvBivnVd63Hd7pCZwo6gUJIC0RoCsOPw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds&dclid=COGV-J2g2s0CFXar7QodMFkFUA">Almond Dream Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream</a>. Personally I would pick both of theses options over any non-vegan ice cream, although if anyone knows of a vegan friendly pistachio ice creams, please, help a girl out!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Raw, wholefood bars are the perfect snack for hungry vegans as they naturally contain unprocessed, whole ingredients mainly consisting of fruits and nuts. Here are a few of my favourite brands: <a href="https://www.naturalbalancefoods.co.uk/nakd/">Nakd</a> (available at most supermarkets and health stores), <a href="http://www.pulsin.co.uk/pulsin-snack-bars?limit=all">Pulsin</a> (available via their website), <a href="http://www.primalpantry.com/shop/">The Primal Pantry</a> (available on website and Waitrose) and <a href="http://uk.bouncefoods.com/">Bounce Foods</a> (available in Waitrose, Tesco and Holland and Barrett, only 'Cashew & Pecan' and 'Spirulina & Ginseng' are vegan). My favourites of these tend to be the nut and cocoa bars such as the Cocoa Crunch or Cashew Cookie by Nakd, and the Pulsin brownie. Nakd also do a Bakewell Tart bar that literally tastes like a Bakewell tart.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I hope this post has been helpful and shown you how easy it can be to have a vegan diet when you don't have time to cook. Obviously it is important to have a diet rich in fruit and vegetables, as well as plenty of water.</div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXOQf2rxu4zPHlMCUgRKHTlO7srWfRLT7GDa5HwrlomKiF2unECUHKyQIdhy_NsZTihNLa7_PHAM2mV2nMt-p3Vu7qkD1xiU9sJKgzIePy43IFmRZKOMxIcdPjDuCg3lRd8AfR7LOeGNU/s1600/image.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXOQf2rxu4zPHlMCUgRKHTlO7srWfRLT7GDa5HwrlomKiF2unECUHKyQIdhy_NsZTihNLa7_PHAM2mV2nMt-p3Vu7qkD1xiU9sJKgzIePy43IFmRZKOMxIcdPjDuCg3lRd8AfR7LOeGNU/s640/image.jpg" width="596" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I was so excited to try this Cleansing Milk from Mádara Organic Skincare. I order this from <a href="https://www.naturisimo.com/products.cfm?id=3982&">Naturisimo.com</a>; a website that love to order from because they have such a great range if beauty and make up products many of which are vegan friendly, organic and or 'natural', however, with this cleanser I was really underwhelmed.</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This was probably my fault because I do prefer to use oils and balms but I wanted to try something new and I was really interested in this product because it was vegan and organic, which are the only redeeming qualities about this product.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm not a fan if the smell, it's really strange and although it smells familiar, I can't quite put my finger on what it smells like to me. If you like milk cleansers maybe you will like this one too, it does get rid of your make up and there isn't anything particularly wrong with the texture. Maybe I was expecting too much from this, to be fair I think it was only £15, however I think what made it worse is that I had just come from using the <a href="http://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory%E2%84%A2-The-Ultimelt%E2%84%A2-Deep-Purifying-Hot-Cloth-Cleanser_1364162/">Soap & Glory Ultimelt Hot Cloth Cleanser</a> which I loved using and was only £10.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
While I don't think I would ever use this product again, I would definitely be open to trying out so w of their other products.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Finally, it's spring; time for some spring cleaning and I don't just mean your room.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
While it's important to keep your face hydrated in the winter, it should be a priority all year round for healthy looking skin.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Here are two french pharmacy brands that I love using as part of my routine and I find them really hydrating and great quality products.<br />
<a name='more'></a> First up is <a href="http://www.escentual.com/la-roche-posay/larocheposay123/">La Roche Posay's Serozinc Spray</a>, this thermal spring water spritz, enriched with zinc sulfate is great to use after a toner to tackle spots. Zinc is known for being great for the skin and this product has been raved about all over the internet. I find this product really refreshing and great to use on a break out or all over the skin to keep break outs away. I buy this from <a href="http://www.escentual.com/">escentual.com</a> and most of the time they have 20% off.<br />
<br />
Secondly we have <a href="http://www.escentual.com/bioderma/hydrabio/bioderma037/">Bioderma's Hydrabio Serum</a>, this is marketed as an intensively hydrating concentrate. Much like it's more expensive doppelgänger <a href="http://www.boots.com/en/Indeed-Labs-hydraluron%E2%84%A2-moisture-boosting-facial-serum_1262210/">Hydraluron by Indeed Labs</a> Hydrabio Serum is high in hyaluronic acid;This is a moisture binding product and can hold 1,000 times it's weight in water. It basically acts as a moisturiser booster.<br />
I don't know which product came first but they're both very similar and I enjoy using them both. It is good to use before your facial oil and or moisturiser, hand bag friendly and travel safe packaging.</div>

In the January sales, I was just browsing whilst trying to look up the check coat that Adele wears in her 'Hello' video. Just to give you some context, I am the biggest Adele fan, verging on obsessed but my rational side calms me down. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Anyway, I found this coat, it isn't the same silhouette and I do prefer Adele's actual coat because it is a wrap coat but I thought I'd go with this Check Tailored Coat from <a href="http://www.yumi.co.uk/women/check-print-tailored-coat-YRCT08.html?dwvar_YRCT08_color=Black">Yumi.co.uk</a> as it was £34 down from £85. The print is a perfect dupe for Adele's coat and at such a great discount, I couldn't say no!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The delivery was really quick and when I received the coat, I was so happy with the quality.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The print is so chic and timeless, it has the ability to dress up a casual outfit and transitions perfectly from day to night, work to leisure.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I know that this coat will last me and was definitely worth it, it's the perfect addition to any outfit and I love wearing it.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I recently got the Morphe six piece contour brush set from <a href="https://www.cultbeauty.co.uk/morphe-brushes-6-piece-deluxe-contour-set-690.html#c=5-category">Cultbeauty.com</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I love to use contour products and thought hat this would be a great addition to my brush collection.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It was a pleasant surprise when I received the brushes and could see the great quality of the brushes; their design is sleek and fashionable with the two toned bristles that are dense and super soft.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
In the set you get six brushes all with white handles and silver hardware. In the set you get an Angled buffer brush, a Rounded buffer brush, a Pointed buffer brush and three smaller versions of each brush.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The brushes all work well and do what they say they are going to do but they also work well as multi-tasking products. The Rounded buffer brush would be great for foundation, especially for full coverage, the Pointed buffer brush would work well if used for blush, highlight, contour and or setting the under eye area and the three smaller brushes are great for smaller areas of contour and highlighting the brow bone or being used as eyeshadow brushes.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As you can see I have also got the Morphe G17 blending brush. It has a gunmetal hardware hence the name G17 with the two toned bristles. This is not has dense as the other brushes but that's because it is a blending brush and is design to have a 'soft-focus' effect on the look. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm really loving these brushes and I couldn't recommend them more, whether it's for a complete make up beginner looking to delve in to the world of beauty or a seasoned professional adding to their kit. At such an affordable price and great quality, not to mention their multi-tasking ability, I'd say that these brushes were a worthwhile investment.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Both the single brush and the set are from Cultbeauty.com <span style="background-color: rgba(255 , 255 , 255 , 0); color: black;">and they come in at £7.50 and £20.75, respectively.</span></div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDJN48WMA7EvD4zETvC0dPgPFZyWgt6I_zrxXv553o8y6l5CcWyp3P9qdbSADap-mPhHvix0zQ8a7kDuoT6wXzDGs-gjhrNy1Qv9ZZJBJa1qwrcuKZST_R4AnzAPWJTMLIyxYcBcpb_IA/s1600/image.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDJN48WMA7EvD4zETvC0dPgPFZyWgt6I_zrxXv553o8y6l5CcWyp3P9qdbSADap-mPhHvix0zQ8a7kDuoT6wXzDGs-gjhrNy1Qv9ZZJBJa1qwrcuKZST_R4AnzAPWJTMLIyxYcBcpb_IA/s640/image.jpg" width="452" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Having a good New Years resolution can change your life for the better whether it be dropping a bad habit or picking up a great new hobbie.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>1. Stop beating yourself up</i>! I tried this New Years resolution a few years ago and honestly it is one of the best things that I've done for myself. It doesn't matter if you break this resolution at any point because this is more of an excercise for you to gradually get to a more positive outlook on yourself. So, every time you start to beat yourself up about anything the way you look, the way you behave, that embarrassing moment you wish you could take back but you can't and you keep replaying it in your head and torturng yourself with the memory, you need to stop and say three things that you like about yourself. It doesn't matter what positives you begin with but you need to start validating yourself. When you do this as soon as you start to think negatively about yourself it will stop your for falling in to a negative spiral, which can leave you feeling depressed and at a lose of motivation.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Personally, this really changed the way I think about myself and the world around me and has helped me to become more motivated, positive and loving of others. It doesn't matter if you don't always follow this resolution, it is just about trying your best and trying to change the way you behave, to be more productive,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>2.Detoxify your social life</i>. So many people hold on to relationships that bring nothing to their life's apart from misery and disappointment, you out so much effort into fueling a relationship where the person who is supposed to be your friend just makes you feel like crap. Now, any relationships can have tough times but it is important to keep people around you who love you, who always have good intentions for you and bring light and laughter to your life. It's important to have a close group of really positive energies in your life.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>3. Spend less time on you phone</i>. Trying to spend less time on your phone is really important.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
People get so stuck in the 'virtual reality' of their phone that they forget to actually live. Go out and meet people, when you go to party focus on interacting with the people in your life not checking your phone every five or seeing what everybody else is doing on Facebook. People have found a direct link between Facebook use and increased feelings of depression and anxiety. Focus on the reality that can truly experience and go out and live your life. It is so precious and everyday you live, is a blessing.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>4.Drop the bad habits</i>. I'm not a believer in ' New year, New Me' but I do think that the new year is good time to encourage yourself to make some changes for a better life and stick to them. The new year is a good time to drop those bad habits that effect your health, mentality and or your well-being. Plenty of people give up alcohol for the month of January in the UK (Dryanuary, so you won't be the only one giving up a bad habit and by doing it for a whole month you will have the beleif in yourself that you have the will power to do it for a long period of time. This can be anything from smoking, drinking too much, sugar or getting sucked in to negative situations. You will be surprised by how different your life will feel and how much more positive and uplifted your mentality will become.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>5. Put the doughnuts down and step away from the beige food.</i> Having a New Years resolution simply to make healthier choices with your food prevents you from the pressure of sticking to a strict diet and enables you to persevere and focus on finding healthier foods that you actually enjoy eating. Having a diet that has a lot of sugary or carb heavy food can lead to unhealthy levels of glucose in the blood stream and increased weight gain, not to mention the effects that sugar has on your skin and general health. By making a conscious effort just to increase the amount of basic carbohydrates and sugars that you consume, you could be saving yourself from premature ageing and a host of illnesses associated with unhealthy diets such as cancer and diabetes.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>6. Drink more water. </i>To most people this might sound like a stupid one but you'd be surprised by how hard some people find it to drink water. Making an effort to drink more water can have a great effect on your skin, energy levels and on every day bodily functions, but it also can stop you from over eating and drinking other substances that might contain lots of sugar, or alcohol, which will be digested as sugar anyway. This is such a simple way to start you on a road to a healthier way of life.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>7. Let go of the past. </i>This to me was a definite game changer. Learning to let go of what has happened in the past and live in the present is so liberating and life changing, we spend so much of our own time being angry with someone that wronged us last year, or holding on to a relationship that is toxic and really dysfunctional. This has to stop! The idea of letting go is easy but in practice, it is so much more difficult but also so much more rewarding that you could imagine. It takes work but again, this is not a New Years resolution that you can fail because it is a work in progress. Letting things go, is the healthiest way for you to live because staying angry at someone doesn't hurt anybody else but yourself; there is quite a famous proverb by Buddha (I think) and it says 'holding on to anger, is like being bitten by a snake and expecting the other person to die', this is a great analogy to explain why letting to is so great for your state of mind. This can help you become such an easy going, loving and liberating person.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>8. Start telling yourself that 'you can'! </i>There are so many things that people want to do but they don't because they have that voice, the self-saboteur that say 'you can't do that...you aren't good enough'. Think about all of the things that you could achieve with your life, if you dared to tell yourself 'you can' because the worst thing that could happen if you don't succeed in whatever you are trying todo, is simply that...you don't succeed in it, which isn't the end of the world. Don't be afraid to make mistakes or mess things up because often those are the best learning curves and having the courage to go for something, not succeed and then pick yourself up and try again, is the ultimate self-esteem booster.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>9. Get yourself organised! </i>If there are things that you want to get done this year, things that you want to achieve then the best way to do this is make a list of all the little things that you need to do in order to achieve the bigger goal. Also by getting organised it can help you to prioritise what is most important to you. Sometimes reaching certain goals can be difficult but so worth it. Really making an effort to be organised (which doesn't come naturally to me) can allow you to be so much calmer, no worrying about what you have to get done or what you haven't had time to do. If you have a hectic schedule it is always good to organise time to spend quality time with friends, family or even just having some you time.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>10. Embrace the unknown.</i> Nowadays people get so stuck in their ways so it's really good to try something new or atleast be more open to new opportunities and experiences. It can help you reconnect with your jour du vivre and find a new thing that you love. It also opens your social circle, which is good. It's important to have a good flow of positive energy into your life.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'd just finished my <a href="http://www.feelunique.com/p/Balm-Balm-Frankincense-Deep-Cleansing-Balm-60ml">Balm Balm Frankincense Cleansing balm</a>, which I absolutely loved. My favourite consistency of cleanser is usually and oil or a balm but I was really excited to try the <a href="http://www.marksandspencer.com/glow-mud-cleanser-135ml/p/p22424633">Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser</a>!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a>Now, my skin is normal to dry, very placid and doesn't usually react to things and initially I was really impressed with this cleanser.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My skin felt really clean after use and I really enjoyed using this. However, about three weeks after I had started using this I think I had a breakout. I have about four or five small spots around my chin area. Now it's very rare that I have a break out but this could have been because I am due to come on and the mud was drawing out my spots.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I know that mud is really clarifying for the skin and when I used the cleanser after my spots broke out I could literally see the cleanser draw the white head out of my spot!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also noticed that my skin wasn't feeling as soft as it usually does and I think that using the cleanser day and night for me was too harsh. I feel like this will be more of a once a week cleanser that I'll use on a Sunday when I have time to use it and then go on with a mask, toner, serum, eye cream, moisturiser.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
All in all I do think that this cleanser is really good but perhaps for my type of skin, it works better as a weekly treatment and this is why I have given it a three out of five. I might go back to my Balm Balm cleanser or try something new.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Let me know in the comments your favourite cleanser and if you have tried this one!</div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxbWtC1Hq584CPE9LgKp44anTrXl4IkL4aeTzmqNS0ysUBe8iTqyMXAPbtDWCwYLEmX2CUekQeSdFMjMeZM-FyqTMeSt2macmVXwntykaVCdiG56qUbJmdqedmKbT5EuZLOOQ04ZNQJ_Y/s1600/image.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxbWtC1Hq584CPE9LgKp44anTrXl4IkL4aeTzmqNS0ysUBe8iTqyMXAPbtDWCwYLEmX2CUekQeSdFMjMeZM-FyqTMeSt2macmVXwntykaVCdiG56qUbJmdqedmKbT5EuZLOOQ04ZNQJ_Y/s640/image.jpg" width="452" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As someone who is very in touch with their spirituality and naturally optimistic, I always try to have a positive outlook on life. More and more people are making a conscious effort to live a more positive life but it's almost getting to the point, where it is becoming a negative thing to express your negativity.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a>Have you ever had a conversation with someone, where you are trying to explain how they have made you feel and they have shut you down with 'you're being negative'? Or tried to push your feelings of anger or sadness to the side because you don't want to be negative?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm not a fan of people shaming others for expressing their feelings or emotions and just because you are in a situation that is causing you to feel negative emotions, it doesn't mean you are a negative person.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It is important to validate your feelings and when you are in a situation where you begin to feel negative emotions or vibrations, really explore what that feels like and try to understand where this negativity really a comes from. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
There is a massive difference between avoiding any confrontation with your own negative emotions and actually being a positive person. Granted, feeding in to negativity too much can make things worse but you can only truly let go of it by understanding where it is coming from and working out how your issues are bringing negativity into your life.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
By really exploring negativity when it comes to your door, you can work through some of the issues </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
that you may have and in turn this will help you become a person who has a naturally positive disposition, so seeing the positive side to life will come so naturally to you, it won't even be a conscious decision.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I believe in the theory 'like attracts like', so for example you've probably met someone who complains about everything but they only do this because they find things to complain about, so more disappointments will come their way. I also believe that whenever a stressful situation brings it's way in to your life, see it as an opportunity to work on some of your issues that always bubble up to the surface at times like these.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
There is nothing wrong with feeling sh**y or negative but use those feelings to workout what is the root cause of your unhappiness and find yourself in a more positive and pro-active state of mind.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Remember all of your feelings negative or positive are relevant, so don't bury them away because they will awalys come back again and again until you deal with them.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

According to Shakespeare 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder', this i know to be true.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
What one person finds beautiful can be so different from what another person finds beautiful both physically and in terms of personality.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
In our society most people view beauty as being a physical characteristic but here is my idea of beauty.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><i><br /></i>
<i>1. Smile</i>, a genuine smile is the most beautiful thing that a person can wear because it is an expression of pure happiness and positive energy. Don't be afraid to share your smile with the world and remember how it feels when a stranger smiles at you (in a non creepy way), think about how you get a little spring in your step. Wouldn't you love to be the kind of person that perks up someone else's life just with a simple smile. This is a small way that we can all make ourselves and the world a little bit more beautiful.<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i>2. Love yourself</i>, I say this all the time but when you love yourself FULLY you just become so at peace with every part of yourself. You feel so comfortable with every part of who you are and then you can see not only your own perfection in your imperfections but you can see the same in everyone else.<br />
<br />
<i>3. Open your heart, </i>most people have a fear of being hurt, unfortunately this means that you end up missing out on experiencing so many things and this hurts more than anything. When you open your heart you embrace your fearless freedom and your compassion. This is such a beautiful thing in a person because you uplift the people around you and they will feel your warm and loving energy.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i>4. Be true to yourself</i>, so many people think that they aren't good enough; this is the biggest fallacy. The famous saying 'it is better to be hated for something that you are than loved for something that you aren't' is one to live your life by. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
By hiding your true self, you prevent the possibility that someone might actually just accept and love you for you and maybe it's just me but there is nothing more beautiful than someone who lives their life as there most authentic self.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i>5. Embrace your ability to be positive.</i> Roald Dahl has been quoted 'if you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely'. This is a truth for me. Having positive thoughts about yourself and others definitely changes your energy and the way people feel about and around you. Being compassionate to others can definitely make your beauty shine through.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i>6. Push your pride aside</i>. Beauty is the ability to live your life without pride. There is nothing wrong with being proud of achievements or things like that but being able to laugh at yourself and having the effortless quality of not needing to prove oneself gives you a beautiful, graceful quality. So many people are too proud to be open and expressive about their feelings and their true self, it's time to emancipate yourself.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i>7. Find your funny bone</i>. Having a good sense of humour is so very attractive, having an ease of seeing the funny side to life is such a beautiful quality because you will allow other people to feel at ease around you. People will see the beauty of your soul as well as your physical attributes. Beauty fades but humour can last a life time.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i>8. Take care of yourself</i>. Look after your health, eat well, sleep well and drink well. By making sure you are taking care of your body and your health, you will always look your best even if you have not brushed your hair or put any make up on.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Having a well balanced diet, rich in vegetables means that you are nourishing your body properly and drinking plenty of water can help your body to flush out any nasty toxins that may be floating around. Also, there is nothing wrong with having a lengthy beauty regime and if this helps you feel good then go for it but remember to make good choices and realise you are enough, just as you are.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i>9. Emancipate yourself from your physical body</i>. When people get too caught up in their body they find imperfections that aren't even there, they are so blind to the beauty that they already have. It is important to realise that you are more than your shell and that confidence is the sexiest accessory.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i>10. Feel yourself, do whatever makes you feel beautiful</i>. Now, I'm not going to sit here and encourage plastic surgery but neither will I discourage it. It is of the utmost importance that you research any form of surgery thoroughly and take in to consider all of the side effects and possible complications, but if you feel that it is what you want then go for it!<br />
It is important to find what makes YOU feel beautiful not what others find beautiful in you; this could be a nice set of lingerie, a certain pair of shoes, make up, or doing something for charity. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The main thing is that you need to start validating yourself because really the only one that needs to see your beauty, is you and you have no need to hide the fact that you know just how beautiful you are. To start, look at yourself, in the mirror and express to yourself everything that you like about what you see. You might find this hard but even if it's just 'I like my hair colour or eye colour',that's a good a place as any to start.<br />
<br />
What is your most beautiful quality?</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgA1AuxNqNd3vKm8-LEZ0fjYLR5IOiNZeIWaubBmXPCb05o1lfnWbfa5RUNm1jToa-2oul5ObVHwc4IviwXMPcCz5h36bzKHNju0p0C-wzSpBYX2wgFn0r854D1h15igeuMqseKiBDYfNA/s1600/image.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgA1AuxNqNd3vKm8-LEZ0fjYLR5IOiNZeIWaubBmXPCb05o1lfnWbfa5RUNm1jToa-2oul5ObVHwc4IviwXMPcCz5h36bzKHNju0p0C-wzSpBYX2wgFn0r854D1h15igeuMqseKiBDYfNA/s640/image.jpg" width="452" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
This time last year my world was tipped completely upside down, I was in crisis; I felt abandoned, in complete despair and broken.</div>
<div>
I don't want to go into detail because it was a personal situation that still effects my life but even though I honestly felt like I had endured everything I could cope with, I, somehow found the strength to face everything and that is my proudest achievement.</div>
<div>
If you are faced with a crisis in your life, here at ten tips that have helped me survive and I hope they work for you.</div>
<div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div>
<i>1. Take things one step at a time</i>. In a crisis, when you look at the big picture you can feel terrifyingly overwhelmed by the situation and this is completely normal. By taking things one step at time, i.e what is the first thing that I should focus on to get myself closer to where I need to be. By doing this you break things down into smaller and more manageable tasks, this helps you to focus on what you can do in a situation rather than being distracted by how scared you may feel by the severity of where you are.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<i>2. Get Organised</i>. I am not know for my amazing organisation skills but this is one of the most important things in terms of the way it allowed me to have a semblance of control over my life.</div>
<div>
They always say 'you need to be the change you want to see in the world' and that applies to this; if you want your world (your reality) to be more ordered then you need to become more ordered. Give yourself a to-do list for things that you desperately need to get done and make sure you do them. This will mean you won't need to 'sweat the small stuff'.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<i>3. BREATHE</i>. Learning to breathe properly can really help you cope better with anxiety and stressful situations. It might suprise you to know that most people in daily life don't breathe properly, you can tell because if you ask someone to take a deep breath their chest will rise and shoulders will become tense. What is supposed to happen is, your chest stays relaxed, your diaphragm (just below the navel) drops down and allows the bottom of your lungs to fill right to the bottom with oxygen and expand outwards, like balloons. This is why singers will often talk about breathing 'into your diaphragm'. Breathing can be linked to our emotions because, for example, when someone is suffering from panic attack and hyper-ventilating (taking fast very shallow breaths that only use the top portions of the chest) it could be argued that this happens because someone denying their emotional issues. <br />
By not dealing with these you bury them and anxiety and panic attacks can happen which include symptoms of hyper-ventilating.<br />
I have heard from vocal professionals who have experienced emotional breakthroughs simply through breathing properly. This can be quite a hard concept for people to wrapped their heads around but the easiest way to test this out is by lying down on your bed and relaxing, place your hands on your navel (belly-button) and breathe out as much air as you can, don't think about breathing, just wait for your body to react because it knows what it is doing. </div>
<div>
When you feel over-whelmed take some deep, gentle breathes and just focus your mind on breathing. I wouldn't recommend people with asthma or lung problems to do this without a doctor or on their own!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<i>4. Meditate</i>. When negative thoughts start flying around it can be hard to get back to a positive and productive state of mind, this is where meditation can help because it's easier to go from negative thought to no thoughts, than straight to a positive thought.<br />
I like to start meditation by sitting down, taking a deep breathe, closing my eyes and saying 'quite mind', sometimes I repeat this. I imagine a white, golden luminescent light filling my mind and flowing down to my chest and I say a few times 'open heart' and then I finish by imagining the light following down to the rest of my body and I think to myself 'peaceful soul'. After that I just sit there and don't feel any need to think about anything else for however long feels comfortable. This is a great way to 'check out' of life when everything is a bit scary.</div>
<div>
<br />
<i>5. Get yourself a mantra</i>. When you don't have time to meditate, having a mantra can help you to centre yourself when your energy goes into panic mode. This is particularly great if you are in any form of a relationship with someone that is quite volatile or abrasive. Your mantra can be anything but a good place to start is 'I am loved, I am safe and my intention is good'. Obviously you can cater this to your situation but you really need to give yourself a phrase that will help you find your equilibrium again.<br />
<br />
<i>6. Try and get as much sleep as possible</i>. During a crisis sleep can feel so far away. I myself have spent so many nights too upset and distressed to feel tired and to tired to really cope with my emotions, I know that doesn't make sense but that is how I feel/felt sometimes. But sleep is exactly what you need to give yourself the strength to cope, also dreaming helps the subconscious to problem-solve the issues that you are faced during your waking life. So it can help you to find clarity with how you really feel about certain areas of your life.<br />
<br />
<i>7. Don't be afraid to express yourself</i>. Sometimes the pressure to stay 'positive' can make you think that you shouldn't acknowledge negative emotions but this is not right. Feelings of sadness, anger and fear are important. They cannot be buried because they will always rise to the top again, if you don't deal with them.You need to find a safe environment for yourself to express and talk about your emotions, this can be an excercise class where you think about everything that makes you angry and sad and take it out there, having a good cry (don't hold the tears in) or talking to someone and just having a rant. Don't feel alone with your emotions and remember that everything that you are feeling is valid.<br />
<br />
<i>8. Have some YOU time</i>. You need time to unwind and have a break, this can require saving money up or planning but do the saving, do the planning! It is so worth it.<br />
If you like live music go and do that. Just make sure, from time to time you socialise, you spend time with friends or do something you love. You need to nourish yourself too, to keep that fire within you burning.<br />
<br />
<i>9. See the bigger picture</i>. Know that even though you are going through a terrible time, this won't always be the way things are. You will laugh again, you will smile again, you just need to wait for the break in the clouds and trust that it will come.<br />
<br />
<i>10. Get in touch and research</i>. There are charities and people out there who are there to listen to you without judgement, to remind you that they care about you and that you have a voice. Religion isn't right for everyone but sometimes reaching out to your local religious community can give you a support group of people who live their lives with a strong sense of compassion and giving. Researching in to support that you can get from the council or many different charities is important if that is something that you need. If your crisis is financial there are websites that offer free and impartial advice and free courses on how to budget.<br />
<br />
I wanted to close with this quote and a few links to various UK based charities and advice services.<br />

<span id="goog_1261705999"></span><span id="goog_1261706000"></span>It's nearing the end of October and time for this months issue of Don't worry if.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
So, don't worry if...</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i>1. You've already spent most of your student loan,</i> the best time to be poor is when you are young. Treat this as a learning curve on money management, which, to be fair, is a very important lesson to learn.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i>2. You've got the heating on 24/7. </i>You aren't the only one, I always think being cold if the worst!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i>3. You can't stop watching Vlogtober</i>. Most youtubers are doing Vlogtober this months, which is like vlogging marathons. You aren't the only one breaking at work at 3pm and watching a vlog.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i>4. You're day-dreaming about a hot bath all day</i>. The drop in temperature and dull weather would make anyone want to crawl in to a hot bubbly bath.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i>5. You get a taxi home from the tube station even thought it's only a ten minute walk</i>. It's horrible walking home in the dark and the cold.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i>6. You've already bought fifty percent of your Christmas presents</i>, there is nothing wrong with being prepared!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i>7. Your idea of a Halloween outfit is a pair of cat ears</i>. Being honest Halloween is not my favourite holiday.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i>8. You've planned your Halloween outfit for weeks</i> and are using it as an excuse to wear the skimpiest outfit on the planet. There's nothing wrong with being enthusiastic and 'feeling your oats'.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i>9. You took your lunch at 11 am today</i>, <b><i>just</i></b> so you could spend your whole lunch break trying to get tickets for the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i>10. You haven't waxed or shaved since August 15th because your single and it's winter</i>. You could always try to make Muffvember a thing, although I think it's already taken.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

Just a quick post about this beautiful nail varnish from <a href="http://www.orlybeauty.com/nail-color/color-blast/color-blast-violet-pastel-creme.html">Orly made in LA</a>. I pick it up on a whim, when I saw it as a giveaway with this months Elle magazine! I don't usually buy Elle but this nail varnish retails at £10.50 and the magazine was only £4.00, so that's more than 50% off!<br />
I'm really loving this colour, it's called Violet Pastel and I honestly don't think I've found a colour like this.<br />
It's very subtle yet daring and a great addition to any autumn/ winter look.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The Body Shop is one of my skincare favourites; here is a focus on some of my favourite Body Shop products!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>The Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil £11.00. </i>I have tried a lot of different cleansers over the past few years, granted not as many as Caroline Hirons but who has?! I have used both high street and luxury beauty brands and honestly, the one cleanser that I can count on to get rid of the most stubborn waterproof mascara is this beauty! This cleansing oil is so gentle to the skin and the scent of Camomile is very subtle. With in seconds of massaging this into my face, I am transformed into a Panda, it literally dissolves your make up. This is a must for people who love budget beauty and 'don't have time' for a lengthy night-time routine. The lovely formula changes into a milky substances and leaves the skin nice and soft, without leaving any residue.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil £14.00.</i> This is a great multi-purpose product as it can be used on hair and skin. When using on the hair I would recommend to use it on the bottom of your wet hair and work up to half way; only use near your roots if you are planning to do an oil mask to then wash off, thoroughly with shampoo and conditioner.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I use this on my skin, sometimes after a shower and before I go out; I put in on my arms and legs, even sometimes where I would put perfume because the scent is so beautiful and it lingers for a long time.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil £15.00</i>. Adding a serum into your skincare routine can help to build a hydrating barrier for the skin and this serum is great places to start. This serum has vitamin E in it, which is an anti-oxidant. This works by attaching to free radicals and neutralising them, this disables free radicals ability to damage your cells. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I find this serum really nourishing to the skin and great to put on post toner and pre moisturiser. When using I would recommend giving it a good shake before use! Again, a great budget buy, especially if you are new to skincare.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>The Body Shop Facial Massager £6.00</i>. A noted facialist to the stars once said 'the key to glowing skin, is at home facial massage', there are many techniques that you can do with your hands but this facial massager is a great way to begin. It has gentle, spongey spikes that softly roll over the skin and stimulate the blood supply. This can help to keep your skin looking bright and radiant! At £6.00 it's so cost effective and easy for anyone to use. For those of you who are really busy, you needn't worry, this could be easily used when your watching the telly, stuck in traffic or even on public transport...although you might get some funny looks!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>The Body Shop White Musk Smoky Rose Eau De Parfum £15.00</i>. I honestly don't have the words to describe how beautiful this scent is. Last year, my brother bought my some Body Shop goodies for my birthday and picked up this perfume. Normally when it comes to birthday presents, I hate to say but I'm a bit like Rachael from FRIENDS...don't deviate from the list, especially when it comes to perfume; I think you need to be really careful because not every perfume meshes well with someone's natural scent, however, I was extremely, pleasantly surprised! This perfume is best described as a mix between Amor Amor by Cacharel and Stella by Stella McCartney, which a both scents that I love and combined...this is fast becoming my favourite everyday perfume and it is so affordable!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
To celebrate my blog name change, I thought I'd do a post about Black Kale (Carvolo Nero). It is something that I have only recently had the pleasure of trying and I'm loving it!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here are a few reasons as to why I think everyone should try this vegetable!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>1. During the Autumn months Black Kale is in it's prime</i>, so if you want to try it, it's best to now! It's always best to try fruit and vegetables that are in season because it's when they are more likely to be organic and have been grown without being tampered with.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>2. Black Kale can lower your cholesterol levels</i>. When steamed the fibre in Kale has the ability to bind with bile acid that is found in your digestive system. By binding, this allows the bile to leave your body in your stools. This in turn, lowers your cholesterol levels.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>3. It's high in anti-oxidants</i>, these attach to free radicals, which if left alone can attack your healthy cells. This can also aid cell repair in your body.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>4. It's high in fibre</i>. Fibre is essential in order for you to maintain a healthy and balanced diet. Having a healthy amount of daily fibre intake acts as a preventative for some of the west's most life-threatening illnesses.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>5. It's has anti-inflammatory properties</i>. This helps your body to repair itself during times or illness or stress.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>6. It has high levels of vitamins</i>. High in vitamins K, A and C, as well as being a good source of B vitamins and folates means that this vegetable is one of the healthiest around.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>7. Black Kale is a lot softer than Curly Kale.</i> It is a very dark green colour and I find it more palatable because it is soft but still had all of the goodness of Curly Kale. I like to cook it in a bit of butter, garlic and spinach.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>8. It has anti-carcinogenic properties</i>. Kale is high in Glucosinolates that change in to Isothiocyanate in your body. This happens because when we eat our food, we produce an enzyme called Myrosinase and this hyrdrolyses GCT's into ITC's. ITC's allegedly neutralise carcinogens, this inhibits there progress. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
9. <i>It's great for juicing and smoothies</i>. Black Kale would be a great addition to any recipes you use in your Nutribullet or juicer. Due to it's soft texture it's more blendable than Curly Kale.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>10. It's high in Beta Carotene</i>. This is a Carotenoid that does wonders for slowing down the ageing process and protecting eyes against damage.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here are a few things that I've been loving this month!</div>
Fashion<br />
<a href="http://www.asos.com/ASOS/ASOS-Farleigh-High-Waist-Slim-Mom-Jeans-In-Mid-Wash-Blue-With-Busted-Knees/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=4125186&cid=15159&Rf-400=53&sh=0&pge=1&pgesize=36&sort=-1&clr=Vintagewash&totalstyles=42&gridsize=3">Asos Farleigh Slim Mom Jeans</a>, these are a great pair to have. At £35 I think that's a reasonable price point and they exactly what I was looking for; structured yet soft and with some give to the material. Asos give you a great variety of sizes to choose from so anyone can wear these. I like to pair them with either ballet pumps, converse, or if I'm going out in the evening with 'barely there' heels. When paired with heels, I think they look quite cool and edgy.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.asos.com/asos/asos-midi-pencil-skirt-in-jersey/prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=5396966&clr=Paleblue&SearchQuery=Asos+pencil+skirt&pgesize=12&pge=0&totalstyles=12&gridsize=3&gridrow=2&gridcolumn=2">Asos Midi Pencil Skirt</a>, I love a good pencil skirt because without much effort, you can just throw it on, if you are running late and instantly look more polished, fashionable and chic. There are a great piece to have for work and play, as they transition with ease from day to night. I think I have about three or four of these in different colours and coming in at under £20, they're an absolute bargain!<br />
<br />
Beauty<br />
<a href="http://www.boots.com/en/LOreal-Lumi-Magique-Foundation_1247606/">L'oreal Lumi Magique Foundation</a>, I bought this foundation on a whim. I usually just use tinted moisturiser or MAC Face and Body foundation but I thought I'd give it a go. I think I may have gotten one shade darker than I am but I don't use a lot so when I mix it with my tinted moisturiser it evens out. I'm really glad that I bought this though, even on the first day of using it, my friend asked me how I had done my make up because I looked really glowy but all I had on was the foundation, a bit of concealer and Benefit Hoola Hoola. This comes in at around £11.00 and I definitely think it is worth the money and a great foundation.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.feelunique.com/p/Balm-Balm-Frankincense-Deep-Cleansing-Balm-60ml">Balm Balm Frankincense Deep Cleansing Balm 60ml</a>, cleansing balms are probably my favourite products and I have tried a fair few. I really love this product though; it smells and feels like a<br />
luxurious spa product without the matching price tag. Coming in at around £15.00, this goes to show that you don't need to break the bank for good quality, organic beauty products.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.naturisimo.com/products.cfm?id=3662&">Organic Surge Overnight Sensation Cream</a> this low budget gem, coming in at under £11.00 has a nice thick texture. With pure Lavender oil and Aloe Vera it calms and relaxes the skin. I'm really enjoying using this in my evening routine, I just wish that it lived up to it's name Organic Surge and was more than 25% organic.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.boots.com/en/Indeed-Labs-hydraluron%E2%84%A2-moisture-boosting-facial-serum_1262210/">Indeed Lab's Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Serum </a>, this in a old favourite but I've started using it again. I really love this product. It's great to carry around in your bag when your out and about or working in an air conditioned room. It just gives your skin a nice burst of hydration and for me, I find my skin feels more plump. I also use this before i put on moisturiser. At around £25, it is a bit pricey but Boots always have 3 for 2 offers, or a 1/3 off, so I tend to stock up then.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/skincare/accessories/facial-massager.aspx">The Body Shop Facial Massager</a>, I love using this after my first cleanse to begin a facial massage. It's great to use while you're watching the t.v or stuck in a traffic jam! A definite hit this month at £6.00!<br />
<br />
<br />
Body<br />
<a href="http://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory-Smoothie-Star-Breakfast-Scrub-300ml_1429081/">Soap and Glory Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub</a>, I love starting the day with this in the shower. The scrub is great because it's not too rough to the skin but has just enough grit to exfoliate and leave your skin feeling silky and smooth. The scent is out of this world. It smells like a cookie. What a delicious way to start the day.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory%C2%99-RICH-FOAMOUS%C2%99-Dual-Use-Shower-Bath-Body-Wash-500ml_1255858/">Soap and Glory's Rich and Foamous Body Wash</a>, this is a dual product, so you can use it in the shower and the bath. The use of sweet almond oil and honey is so evident in the scent; it is so sweet and the smell is just amazing. The texture of the body wash is creamy but still lathers really well. I love using this.<br />
<br />
Miscellaneous<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=287841423">Jacob's Crackers Thai Sweet Chili</a>, I'm not a massive fan of crackers but this month I ordered a few bits from asos.com and I got two samples with the package. I am so glad that I got these sent to me because I would never have tried them otherwise but to day these are good, is an understatement. They are absolutely delicious! A great snack for anytime of the day or night!!<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.waitrose.com/shop/DisplayProductFlyout?productId=426957">Taylors' Green tea & Sweet Mint</a>, I swear this tea is giving me life! I love mint tea on a serious level, I'm reaching addiction territory! I usually like organic peppermint tea but I got this tea on a whim and it is honestly, one of the best teas I have ever had!!<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.waitrose.com/shop/ProductView-10317--42747-Green+&+Black's+organic+dark+chocolate+mint">Green & Black's Organic Mint Dark Chocolate 60% Cocoa</a> I love a bit of dark chocolate and I didn't realise that Green and Black's did some with peppermint oil, the result is immense. Perfect with a cup of mint tea!<br />
<br />
<a href="http://beta.itv.com/itvplayer/video?filter=2%2F2470%2F0001%23003">Midwinter of The Spirit</a>, this was a four part television series that is still available on SKY+ or the itvplayer. It's about a woman who is a vicar at a new diocese and she has to become a deliverance minister, which is what they call people who are qualified to perform exorcisms, so natural, all hell breaks loose! There are really great moments of suspense and drama in this piece, It is great if you enjoy scary/creepy films and want to get ready for Halloween.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02z7zgj">Doctor Foster</a> is another t.v series that I have been loving which is rare for me! This was on BBC 1 and is available on SKY and iplayer. It is about a woman who is 'Doctor Foster' and her life begins to fall apart, as she tries to get control of her life back, she goes to some, at times, crazy lengths to protect herself and her son. If I could some this piece up in one phrase it would be 'Hell hath no fury, like a woman scorned.' This is definitely a must see, in fact one of my friends watched the whole series on the Sunday just gone, which goes to show, how crippling it is!<br />
<br />
This is the last of the t.v series that I will mention but <a href="http://www.channel4.com/programmes/this-is-england-90">This is England 90</a> had to make an appearance in my favourites! This is I think the third series of a spin-off project, of the original film This is England '80; this film and mini series follows a group of young people through a whole decade and explores how politics impacts all margins of society and pop culture. I would seriously recommend that if you haven't already watched the film or any of the series, that from the beginning. The cast have such an amazing connection and natural flow, especially considering most of their scenes have an outline b they are improvised. Shane Meadows the director/creator is a master at creating a conscious piece of drama that truthfully depicts the life of young, working class people growing up in Midlands; he has the amazing ability to show the humour and horror of human beings so seamlessly, which is incredibly rare!<br />
<br />
Sh**s<br />
<br />
My one and only sh*t this month is that! for some reason Netflix.com have deleted all of the episodes of The Office (US). Considering that there are so many other appalling rubbish that they have on Netflix, I'm surprised that they deleted this instead of anything else. I am deeply upset. The office is so funny and Steve Carell made it everything and created the most genius character in Michael Scott, a loveable idiot! I'm really going to miss it; can anyone recommend a funny series on Netflix to replace it?<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwN4U-ptfS8UW3hC8qmvS8XYxttVBN0Y47U-ZlFZlWzs4xrRwp0Qn6b3THLIHygAGPqHsyJOW9DFYuhBAdGZQKA1b2MstWwMOhGdVmQrHrH-JgFWDNDkTxjlGAO6Ym3a-QTDXL-WePkSk/s1600/image.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="536" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwN4U-ptfS8UW3hC8qmvS8XYxttVBN0Y47U-ZlFZlWzs4xrRwp0Qn6b3THLIHygAGPqHsyJOW9DFYuhBAdGZQKA1b2MstWwMOhGdVmQrHrH-JgFWDNDkTxjlGAO6Ym3a-QTDXL-WePkSk/s640/image.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This beautiful, highly pigmented eye palette by Laura Mercier called Eye Art Artist's palette is so very versatile and has great variety of metallic and matte shadows and light and dark colours. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span id="goog_1921510437"></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This product seems to be the most elusive eye palette on the planet because it is on neither <a href="https://www.lauramercier.com/search?cgid=cat22010-2">Laura Mercier's website</a> website nor <a href="http://uk.spacenk.com/en_GB/women/">space.nk</a>, even though some space.nk stores stock the palette. The only place to buy this beauty online is via <a href="http://www.sephora.com/artist-palette-for-eyes-P383070?skuId=1677848">Sephora</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The pigmentation of the shadows allows you to have great control over your look and gives you the ability to create very dramatic eye looks and also very subtle, more wearable looks.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
With a nice mix of matte and metallic eyeshadows, this palette offers you a range of colours and textures that all go well together and complete each other as well as all eye colours.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This palette would be the perfect Christmas present as it has shadows that complement any eye colour and can see you through from day to night.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This would be great for travel as it encompasses all the eyeshadows that you will need, unless you are in to neon eyeshadow!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
My favourite shadows in the palette are truffle, kir royal and guava, guava could also be used a a subtle peachy highlight, so it is a vaguely multi-tasking product.</div>

<div>
Personally, I am terrified of spiders and due to the 'Indian Summer' we have been having in the UK, the house spider are rumoured to be huge this year. Here are seven ways to either get rid or deter spiders from your home.</div>
<div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div>
<i>1. Cintranella candles</i>, these have been used in the past to keep Mosquitos away but they also work for spiders and they worked really well for me last year. You can pick these up from most large supermarkets.<br />
<br />
<i>2. Peppermint oil</i>, this is apparently most effective by sprinkling this outside your house doors after it has been raining, but I also sprinkle some on the entrance to my room and on the inside of the curtains. Spiders are supposed to hate the smell.<br />
<br />
<i>3. Horse-Chestnut tree seeds, </i>colloquially known as Conkers. Putting one in the corner of every room in your house or on the window ledges and is thought to keep spiders away, it has been an old wives tale for years but one that people swear by.<br />
<br />
<i>4. Orange peel</i> can be used in the same way as Conkers. Like Peppermint oil, it is down to the smell of the orange peel that puts the off.<br />
<br />
<i>5. Use a vacuum</i>, keeping your carpets or floors clean can prevent spiders from coming in to your house. Their sense of smell, apparently is in their feet, so if there are crumbs on the floor, they will smell the food.<br />
<br />
<i>6. De-clutter your space</i>, keeping less clutter around means that spiders have fewer places to hide in and you will be able to get rid of them quickly if they come in to your house.<br />
<br />
<i>7. Get a pet,</i> I'm not seriously suggesting that you get a pet just to get rid of spiders but if you have a cat, dog or even an iguana they'll eat it for you. XO</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: left;">So, yesterday it was the autumnal equinox in the UK. This signifies the beginning of Autumn.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As the days draw shorter and nights longer many people find it harder to wake up in the morning because the sun rises later in autumn. This is because the sun is our natural cue to be awake but if you have a long commute or due shift work, where you have to be up very early, the autumn/winter period </div>
can cause difficulties. Here are 10 tips to help you wake up better.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>1. Getting a good nights sleep.</i> Failing to prepare is preparing to fail, as they say, so it makes sense that a good nights sleep is essential to a good wake up. Making sure that you get to bed with plenty of time to worry about everything you didn't worry about during the day and saved especially for right before you go to bed. I think the 'recommended' amount of sleep is 8 hours, so there is a good start.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>2. Make your room your sanctuary</i>. Decorating your room to be a place where you feel at peace or splashing out on nice bed clothes can make you feel like you want to spend time in your room and that it is a safe place, where you can relax and not think about anything else but sleep.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>3. Having a regular bedtime ritual.</i>This can be hard but trying to get to bed at the same time and waking up at the same time can get you into a rhythm. Many people's circadian rhythm is out of whack due to our lifestyles but by setting yourself a regular time that you go to sleep and wake up, you can achieve a better flow of sleep. Also by having a ritual that you always do, like meditating, doing some deep yoga stretches or a warm bath can prepare you for bed, this is often the thing that helps babies get into a good sleeping pattern, through ritual and routine.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>4. Give yourself a reason to wake up</i>. I like to have really hot shower when I have to wake up early. Personally, I really like being warm and I get very warm when I sleep, so I find the thought of having a nice hot shower really incentivises me to get out of bed. If you are very in to exercise doing yoga or going for a run can also be a great incentive.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<i>5. Hang up the phone and ditch the iPad</i>. Using devices like phones, iPads or laptops can keep you awake for hours longer than you previously planned. These can stimulate light receptors in your brain that make your body think that it needs to be alert, this a perfect storm for a bad wake up. Your bed should be a place of relaxation and peace.<br />
<br />
<i>6. Keeping some water by your bed</i>. This is not so that someone can throw it over you to wake you up, although that would be very effective. It has been proven that having a drink of cool water can wake you up as much as coffee, so keeping a bottle of water next to your bed can prevent you from falling back to sleep and wake you up.<br />
<br />
<i>7. If you wake up before you alarm do not go back to sleep</i>, under any circumstances. Well, if you wake up less than 90 minutes before your alarm never go back to sleep. You will feel terrible and exhausted if you do. Our sleep cycles are 90 minutes long and waking up in the middle of one can cause something called Inertia, this is when your brain is still tired and is unable to make clear decisions, especially in emergencies.<br />
<br />
<i>8. Get physical</i>. Exercising can help you wake up well because it regulates the bodies production of Cortisol. Cortisol is produced within the adrenal gland. It is a stress response hormone. The levels of Cortisol in the bloodstream of most human beings peak at around eight o' clock and regular exercise can regulate the production of this during the time that you are supposed to be waking. This will help your body feel alert when you wake up.<br />
<br />
<i>9. Hide your alarm clock</i>, what ever you use as an alarm, hide it in a hard to reach or obscure part of your room, somewhere far away from your bed. This will give you no choice but to get out of bed to switch it off.<br />
<br />
<i>10. Investing in a <a href="http://www.boots.com/en/Lumie-Bodyclock-Starter-30_983843/">Lumie Bodyclock light</a></i>. If you find it really difficult to get up in the morning or are suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder than this is for you. You set the clock and it gives you a simulated sunrise based on when you need to wake up. This engages the light receptors in your retina and brain to tell the adrenal gland to produce Cortisol, which gives you a spike of energy to help you wake up.<br />

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4kRyyABEWh2qf8FiamuswP-OmoXcAaM78iCsJgPqD5w5T80C28LOzV2HfItwNS_4q5aOnuoEy7Kl19_kFXfn38nusdcZTJmi4ylSYNagBUu7QiKE6dN3z9X0V8GD13TFtaNfiGIZ1bVs/s1600/image.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4kRyyABEWh2qf8FiamuswP-OmoXcAaM78iCsJgPqD5w5T80C28LOzV2HfItwNS_4q5aOnuoEy7Kl19_kFXfn38nusdcZTJmi4ylSYNagBUu7QiKE6dN3z9X0V8GD13TFtaNfiGIZ1bVs/s640/image.jpg" width="444" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
'Learning to love yourself, is the greatest love of all'...yes, I did just quote a Whitney Houston song *what's wrong with that ?!*<br />
Anyway, it is true; The best way to be able to get to a place where you are more accepting of other people and their faults, is by accepting yourself and loving yourself. Now, that's not to say that you should never change, it just means that by loving yourself, you accept that it is ok to make mistakes but that if you want to change things, by loving yourself without judgement, you feel empowered and supported to do things you may not have had the confidence to do!<br />
So, in this post I'm going to focus on the body.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<i>1. Start your day with gratitude</i>. When it comes to negative thoughts/feelings, or feeling depressed, your vibration and frequency will be low, the happier and balanced you are the higher your frequency will get. Gratitude vibrates at a really high frequency and this is why it's always great to start your day with that. So, when you wake up, stand in front of your mirror and announce to yourself something about your body that you genuinely feel gratitude for. This can be anything. For those of you who suffer from Body Dysmorphia or simply feel like there is nothing you physically like about your body start with ' I am grateful for my feet and legs because I can walk with them and if I was in danger, I could run away to safety' or ' I am grateful to my eyes because they help me see and experience the world around me'.<br />
<br />
<i>2. Get moving by starting an excercise ritual</i>. Being more active simply makes you feel happier whether it be a gym session, workout DVD, walking or social dancing, try to pick up a weekly activity. It is proven that when you excercise frequently your bodies immune systemis stronger and can heal itself quicker than people who don't do any excercise; in fact, just last week, I was listening to the radio and there had been an notice to people going to university to tell gem that they should get a vaccination for Meningitus W, which has never really troubled the UK and is very rare. They had a young girl who had contracted the disease at Uni and she is the only person to have survived this illness and according to the doctors, it was partly to do with her genes and because she excercised so much.<br />
<br />
<i>3. Drinking more water</i> and staying hydrated keeps your body healthy and a healthy body is a happy one. Not only that but drinking water on a regular basis helps you to feel fuller for longer, thus helping you lose weight because you won't be over eating, nor will you feel the pressure of what you 'can't' eat.<br />
<br />
<i>4. Stop following trends</i>. There are always going to be fashion trends that won't suit you and wearing trends that don't look good on you will make you despise your body. Now, there is nothing wrong with following a trends here and there, or being inspired by fashion but by making sure that you dress for your body and what you feel comfortable in, you learn to embrace and love what you have.<br />
<br />
<i>5. Ditch the diets! </i> Our lives are so short, too short to waste on dieting. Instead of dieting and hating yourself when you don't lose any weight or worse, lost a stone and gain two, simply make small gradual changes to your lifestyle. For example if you eat pasta a lot, substitute the pasta for courgette (zucchini). By using a spiraliser or a grater you can make courgetti or slice the courgette instead of pasta sheets for lasagne. There are so many recipes for this type of stuff. It's important to find healthy dishes that you enjoy in to your life if you want to sustain a healthy body. By doing this, you won't spend your life editing but really enjoying your food and feeling good about what you eat! You can also cut down on alcohol that you drink during the week or sugar in tea or coffee.<br />
<br />
<i>6. Don't be afraid to explore</i>. Do your own research on healthy recipes that will give your body all of the nutrients and vitamins that it needs, without having to substitute on flavour. There are so many websites and books that offer healthy and delicious food ideas.<br />
<br />
<i>7. Treat yo self</i> to a nice massage or facial. It's such a nice experience and can stimulate your circulation, drain your lymphatic system and helps your body de-stress. If you can't afford that, I like to do an at home spa night, once a fortnight and usually on a Sunday. This coincides for when I'm usually nursing a hangover. This is also something you could do with a friend or flatmates.<br />
I get a <a href="http://www.johnlewis.com/cowshed-palmarosa-revitalising-face-mask-50ml/p231598542?sku=231598542&kpid=231598542&s_kenid=683f197b-7c34-4c57-8965-ed8907248643&s_kwcid=403x476778&tmad=c&tmcampid=73&kpid=231598542">face mask</a> on, my feet into a foot bath with some Epsom or Himalayan salt and bath oil of my choice and just relax. I finish off by drying my feet and massaging them with oil and then I put some warm socks on. Next, I wash my face mask off, thoroughly and precede with the rest of my skincare routine. This is a great way to love your skin/body. Pamper yourself because you deserve it! <br />
<br />
<i>8. Realise that if someone has a problem with your body, it's their problem, not yours!</i><br />
It's hard to understand but usually when people are really judgemental about others and how people look, it's because they are very insecure and self-conscious. Unfortunately, most of these people deal with their issue with a tactic called 'projection' and I don't mean speaking very loudly. They pick on what they think others will be insecure about in order to make themselves feel validated.<br />
<br />
<i>9. Emancipate yourself</i>. It's nobody else's job to love you or your body, it's yours. Understand that your confidence can only truly come from within and your capacity to love and accept yourself, for who you are. If you feel that losing weight is important to your confidence then use some tips from this post to help you focus on what you are putting in to your body and making it healthier. When you work on your attitude, your outlook on life and what you put into your body, you will see the results on the outside of your body and your surroundings. Remember, you are not a car parking ticket and don't need to be validated.<br />
<br />
<i>10. Sleep in your birthday suit</i>. I have been sleeping naked for years and from a personal experience, I can honestly say that my confidence in my body has never been higher! In fact, scientific research shows that people that sleep naked have high self-esteem, confidence and are more comfortable with their bodies!BLACK KALEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01302237008020157342noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5964173496930986929.post-69319891180825308162015-09-10T06:31:00.004-07:002016-01-30T09:13:36.342-08:00Hvar Part 1<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So, this summer I went on holiday with my sister to Hvar, which is an Croatian island, in the Adriatic Sea.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The first place that we stayed at was in a little fishing village called Milna.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0QX8SF7i6cgvyrcBDXW6_05eCs6ntd172j9OANFKkMhR89iGJIf35grgw6fRcqJnwdnSFoiNGK3bRvldl52fW-fLrhKYACaZsPd5m4_tHf6ZzZziL0MvnrDKM8fIK0WhfTdJZ7Jypoko/s1600/image.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0QX8SF7i6cgvyrcBDXW6_05eCs6ntd172j9OANFKkMhR89iGJIf35grgw6fRcqJnwdnSFoiNGK3bRvldl52fW-fLrhKYACaZsPd5m4_tHf6ZzZziL0MvnrDKM8fIK0WhfTdJZ7Jypoko/s640/image.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
We stayed in a Lavanda apartments, which was lovely and inexpensive. It was so beautiful and peaceful there. We spent four days there an mainly read books, sunbathed and eat out and some of lovely restaurants. One of our favourites was called Fortuna (I think), where they had these wonderful chicken skewers with grilled vegetables, they were so delicious! We also had dinner at another restaurant called Konoba Kotin, where we had the best calamari EVER!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
After four days in Milna, we got the bus and about 10 minutes later, we were in Hvar town.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hvar town has such a lovely atmosphere and so many different people for different parts of the world, it is dream destination for anyone.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So, on our first day in Hvar, we checked in to our hotel, which was just a cheap one but had a beautiful view of the marina. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Unfortunately, the water pressure on the shower was out of control, which kind of reminded me of the seen in the first Star Wars film, when they all get trapped in the dump and there is a weird creature that looks like a shower head trying to attack them, yeah, that shower had a life of it's own! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
We wanted to find a nice place to eat that wasn't on the Main Street or in St. Stephen's Square. <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqewvthjCG46uYOI2A06N_PJiN_itPUfXRazoIMBu30aUvE0J9EXTj938JGXZWymjErSNK2lo3gzgQNh-Fe3k7GirhQ8G5TbomFea92BYnvjLSX46iC-Aw7QEjn7sChQrkKi1X6-W81NU/s1600/image.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqewvthjCG46uYOI2A06N_PJiN_itPUfXRazoIMBu30aUvE0J9EXTj938JGXZWymjErSNK2lo3gzgQNh-Fe3k7GirhQ8G5TbomFea92BYnvjLSX46iC-Aw7QEjn7sChQrkKi1X6-W81NU/s640/image.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
We stumbled across a restaurant called <a href="http://www.klubparkhvar.com/">Central Park Club</a>, which turned out to be a hidden gem with the best chicken wraps on the planet and cheese burgers that are the perfect hangover cure!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The 'club' plays live and recorded jazz and a really nice, relaxed vibe to it. Perfect for lunch, dinner or just a drink. I wanted to share this picture of some of their seating arrangements, which turns out to be very typical of restaurants in Hvar, making do with what space they have.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGsszDoMUONx7-r5qRtVShCc8ETnY6TiMBAg4gvl4n_T34de5HPemHzngQlNfg_Qr3_qga896W0iVuM-nx7kpWCYis16NPv2ZSfhj4kPFfCiCQr2Ecp7MH80hrcQ2xni7vLOJZ6J4VFyw/s1600/image.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGsszDoMUONx7-r5qRtVShCc8ETnY6TiMBAg4gvl4n_T34de5HPemHzngQlNfg_Qr3_qga896W0iVuM-nx7kpWCYis16NPv2ZSfhj4kPFfCiCQr2Ecp7MH80hrcQ2xni7vLOJZ6J4VFyw/s640/image.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
After being in Hvar for less than 12 hours, we managed to infiltrate a stag do...don't ask.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
That night we planned to go to <a href="http://www.carpe-diem-hvar.com/">Carpe Diem</a>, which as well as being a bar on the marina (right in front of where all of the ferries and boats pull up) is also a night club on the island Marinkovac, in the are called Stipanksa. That night we went to a few bars and ended up in the Capre Diem bar, where we met some Australian boys, who had been backpacking through Eastern Europe. We had a few drinks but left, some idiot barmaid kept setting fire to the bar because someone had spilt a drink and even though people were standing there, waiting to be served she kept putting lighter fluid on it! </div>

Anyway, next up we went to BB Club, now I wouldn't rate this place, the service isn't great, it's slow and the staff are rude but this man got talking to the Aussie boys and we all ended up having a great group conversation with him. The next thing we know, he's bought us four bottle of Moët & Chandon! At 2:00 am, after learning that the Full Moon party was the next night, we decided to go home. </div>
