Brand Focus: The Body Shop

The Body Shop is one of my skincare favourites; here is a focus on some of my favourite Body Shop products!

The Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil £11.00. I have tried a lot of different cleansers over the past few years, granted not as many as Caroline Hirons but who has?! I have used both high street and luxury beauty brands and honestly, the one cleanser that I can count on to get rid of the most stubborn waterproof mascara is this beauty! This cleansing oil is so gentle to the skin and the scent of Camomile is very subtle. With in seconds of massaging this into my face, I am transformed into a Panda, it literally dissolves your make up. This is a must for people who love budget beauty and 'don't have time' for a lengthy night-time routine. The lovely formula changes into a milky substances and leaves the skin nice and soft, without leaving any residue.

The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil £14.00. This is a great multi-purpose product as it can be used on hair and skin. When using on the hair I would recommend to use it on the bottom of your wet hair and work up to half way; only use near your roots if you are planning to do an oil mask to then wash off, thoroughly with shampoo and conditioner.
I use this on my skin, sometimes after a shower and before I go out; I put in on my arms and legs, even sometimes where I would put perfume because the scent is so beautiful and it lingers for a long time.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil £15.00. Adding a serum into your skincare routine can help to build a hydrating barrier for the skin and this serum is great places to start. This serum has vitamin E in it, which is an anti-oxidant. This works by attaching to free radicals and neutralising them, this disables free radicals ability to damage your cells.
I find this serum really nourishing to the skin and great to put on post toner and pre moisturiser. When using I would recommend giving it a good shake before use! Again, a great budget buy, especially if you are new to skincare.

The Body Shop Facial Massager £6.00. A noted facialist to the stars once said 'the key to glowing skin, is at home facial massage', there are many techniques that you can do with your hands but this facial massager is a great way to begin. It has gentle, spongey spikes that softly roll over the skin and stimulate the blood supply. This can help to keep your skin looking bright and radiant! At £6.00 it's so cost effective and easy for anyone to use. For those of you who are really busy, you needn't worry, this could be easily used when your watching the telly, stuck in traffic or even on public transport...although you might get some funny looks!

The Body Shop White Musk Smoky Rose Eau De Parfum £15.00. I honestly don't have the words to describe how beautiful this scent is. Last year, my brother bought my some Body Shop goodies for my birthday and picked up this perfume. Normally when it comes to birthday presents, I hate to say but I'm a bit like Rachael from FRIENDS...don't deviate from the list, especially when it comes to perfume; I think you need to be really careful because not every perfume meshes well with someone's natural scent, however, I was extremely, pleasantly surprised! This perfume is best described as a mix between Amor Amor by Cacharel and Stella by Stella McCartney, which a both scents that I love and combined...this is fast becoming my favourite everyday perfume and it is so affordable!
