What Supplements Do I Take and Why?

Supplements can be a great and effective way to improve your health without taking medications with nasty side effects and also soothing deficiencies that you may have.

Folic acid, not that I am but if you are preparing for pregnancy or are pregnancy, these supplements are vital to the health of your baby.
They are recommended for every woman and mother because they prevent birth defects from developing in the fetus.
Folic acid helps your body to produce red blood cells and is thought to be a preventative to many illnesses such as heart disease, Alzheimer's and both colon and cervical cancer.
Rhodiola root, now recently, I have been under a lot of stress. During stressful situations your bodies levels of cortisol. High levels of cortisol can cause excessive weight gain around the face and stomach, insomnia and high blood pressure.
Vitamin D3, I take this because living in a place where it rains a lot, it's important to be getting a daily does of Vitamin D. This vitamin helps the calcium stick to your bones and strengthen them, it builds your immune system, it's also great for your skin, especially if you suffer from Eczema, Keratosis Pilaris or Psoriasis.
CoQ10, this is found in every cell of the body and it is used to produce energy in order to maintain our bodies functions and the growth of our cells. It acts as a major anti-oxidant and these protect your cells from damage.
Omega 3 supplements are something that everyone should take. Yes, they are found in foods such as oily fish and vegetables but many people cannot digest Omega 3's from vegetables and in order to get as much as we need it us better to take supplements as well as having an Omega 3 rich diet. I take them because they are great at supporting heart, preventing high blood pressure and so much more.

*DISCLAIMER, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU SPEAK TO YOUR DOCTOR IR PHARMACIST BEFORE INGESTING ANY SUPPLEMENTS*
